The Metropolis

Moscow is so funny to me so far- it is, at the same time, quintessentially Russian and the most metropolitan place I have been in several months. I really appreciate being able to go and get my work done at one of the dozens of Starbucks locations... at the same time, it feels almost wrong that I can be here and live very similarly to the way I do in Boston. That certainly was not the case in much of Siberia. Needless to say, at this point, I will not turn away the Western comforts. I’ve spent much of the week in the archive, but these pictures represent a few moments from my times outside.
