Здравствуйте! Hello! My name is Sierra Nota. I am a rising senior at Harvard University originally from Macomb, Michigan. At Harvard, I live in Cabot House as a passionately pro-Quad transfer. While I initially intended to exclusively pursue a history concentration at the college, I somehow ended up with eight semesters of Russian language coursework by the end of my junior year. To reflect this rigorous involvement with the language, I have picked up a joint concentration with slavic... (fun fact: I just finished reading Anna Karenina in the original Russian!).
Outside of academia, I recently became a certified instructor at Btone Fitness in Boston, Massachusetts. When I am not at the gym or in the library, I love to travel, spend time with my family, or go hiking and biking with my boyfriend, Nick. After getting my bachelor's degree, I plan to immediately enroll in graduate school to get my PhD in history. This archival research trip will be an excellent taste of the future in academia that I plan to have.
