Goodbye, Siberia... Hello, Moscow

I have only just left Novosibirsk and I already cannot wait to plan another trip there! It’s a beautiful city whose history revolves intimately around the railway (it was founded, after all, in order to be the Trans-Siberian stop on the Ob river). As a bonus, I was able to hang out with fellow Harvard researcher Sasha Shpitalnik for pretty much all the time that we weren’t researching which was lovely and a great break from all of the solo dinners I have to do. 😂 While in Novosibirsk we were able to attend the ballet to see Le Corsaire (the theatre and the finale are pictured), order homemade nitrogen ice cream made table side, and speak a great deal more English than I am used to here. I have only just arrived in Moscow last night, and I am super excited to get back into the archives here.
