Today is my fourth day in Novosibirsk, and I have to say it really feels like ‘the big city’ compared to everywhere else I’ve been, I feel like it’s impossible to see it all in the short time I have! But I’ve done a lot of walking and museum visits, and definitely gotten some really great food (pictured of course). It’s a beautiful super modern city (its grid system and late founding in 1893 earned it the nickname of ‘the American city). For this reason, it’s a super important comparative city for my research and I’m so excited to be able to be here!
