Krasnoyarsk has been one of my favorite cities ever and definitely one of the prettiest along my trip so far! What surprised me the most was how much green space the city affords itself, as there are many public parks and fountain areas (and also a massive nature reserve, Stolby, at its borders. I went hiking and scrambling there and that is the last picture here.) I spent a ton of time exploring the city and visiting different museums, and both the regional museum (no one seems sure why they chose the Egyptian themes for the outside of this one) and the literature museum (classic Siberian wooden structure) are pictured. Otherwise my photos just show me enjoying the massively beautiful Yenisei river and appreciating the marvel that is the Krasnoyarsk dam, the most powerful at the time that it was built in the 1960s. I’m so glad I was able to fit this city into my trip.
