The View from Irkutsk

I’ve had so much fun exploring the city the past couple of days (and I’ve walked about 12 miles a day doing it)! There are so many super beautiful buildings with a lot of history in this unique city, and it was so fun to finally visit some of the architectural landmarks that I had been reading about for months. Tomorrow, I start my archival work. Before then, I’ve just been trying to read as much secondary source material as possible so that I can complement the archival material with plenty of background context. I can’t wait to let you guys know how it goes!! 🤓
