Magnificent Mongolia

Mongolia was 100x more Beautiful and amazing than I had expected (and I’ve been looking forward to coming here for years!). In my short 2 day stay, we walked the entire city of Ulaanbaatar, visited the mountains, hiked up to a Tibetan monastery, ate lunch with a nomadic Mongolian family in there Ger, rode horses through the Mongolian steppe, and visited the largest statue on horseback in the world! I’m definitely looking forward to returning here, but for now I’ve got my sight set on the train to Russia. I depart today for Irkutsk, and I expect to arrive there after a day on the Trans-Mongolian railway. До завтра!
