Bye Beijing!

We’re wrapping up our time in Beijing, and my dad and I are flying out to Ulaanbaatar this morning. In our short stay in China, we saw a serious spread of amazing sites! The Great Wall was a million times more beautiful (and tiring!) than I had thought. After going there, we saw the giant pandas at the zoo and spent even more time exploring the downtown area. As I leave China and my mom and sister fly back, I have a lot to miss and be grateful for. Being in China has given me a lot of new historical questions to approach my research with, and I’m looking forward to getting started in the archives soon!!! Next post will be from Mongolia 🇲🇳
