We're off! 🇨🇳

It's crazy to say that by this time tomorrow I will be in Shanghai! We've just arrived at the airport for our 14 hour flight... I have been strongly encouraged to avoid sleeping through most of it to best adjust to the jet lag. I have said my goodbyes to everyone (including my cat Winston, pictured). While I'll miss home, it's awesome that my family will be able to join me for the first leg of the trip and help ease my transition to life in the eastern hemisphere. I can't wait to post from China!!
