Hello! Welcome to my blog feed. From here, I will be posting updates about my trip, my research, and life and culture in Siberia. This trip will begin in Shanghai, China, and move through Mongolia and and least six Russian cities. As of right now, my itinerary is as follows:
June 2-3: Flight to China
June 3-6: Shanghai, China
June 6-10: Beijing, China
June 10-12: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
June 12-13: Train to Russia
June 13- July 6: Irkutsk, Russia
July 6-9: Train to Vladivostok
July 9-12: Vladivostok, Russia
July 12-15: Train to Krasnoyarsk
July 15-18: Krasnoyarsk, Russia
July 18-21: Novosibirsk, Russia
July 21-31: Moscow, Russia
July 31- August 1: Train to Saint Petersburg
August 1-3: Saint Petersburg, Russia
August 3: Flight Home
The first leg, in China, will be spent with the rest of my family. After China, I will board the international train alone and begin my solo journey through Siberian Russia. I cannot wait to document all of this in detail for anyone who is interested!
